I miss Disney

Hi.
I'm Lynn and I'm a Disney addict.

First off, I'm having some serious Disney withdrawal symptoms..I miss Disney already!!!!!

2 weeks ago, we were at our happy place. We booked our most recent trip on my last birthday, thinking we were going to take a break from our NE winter weather and maybe break out those summer dress/ shorts/ skirts, enjoy the warmth of the sun and not worry about layerings, boots, bulky coats. Gladly, we booked our stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with Savannah view in hopes that we were going to wake up to giraffes at our balcony, zebras grazing, different exotic animals right in our backyards. Oh, what a dream it would be! My little one, A (2y), would be thrilled. It would be perfect! Or so I thought. Mother Nature obviously had different plans. Fast forward to our arrival, Florida experiences a cold front like never before. Temperatures dipped to 30s and well, all the animals were taken inside since the weather is far from the equator weather. Thankfully, we already have our winter gears and 30 F sounds way better than our NE -30F. Ha! The Florida winter did not bother us as much as it did with the locals but our dream of animal watching were gone.

We did all 4 parks with Mr. A being a trooper. We did both Pandora rides, thanks to Rider Switch. (Highly recommend the Flight of Pandora if you have yet to try it!) We did ALL available kiddie rides, met all the princesses and other Disney characters, enjoyed EPCOT's Festival of Arts, got all signatures we planned on, had an Amazing lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table, watch parades, fireworks at MK and overall, had a blast! We were tired each night but couldn't wait to start each day :)

During our 5 day trip, the animals were finally out on Day 4 when the weather became warm enough. Well, at least we got to enjoy the Savannah view we paid for for at least a full 24 hours.  Mr A would tell you his best part of the trips were princesses and watching the animals with night vision binoculars!

I'll post a more detailed review of the resort, Epcot's Festival of Arts and food in another post since Mr A is about to wake up from his nap.

Let me know what else you want to read about!
