First Snowfall

Isn't it just beautiful?

I'm obsessed with snow. It's so peaceful, so pure, so calm. And just for a moment there, when I look out my window and see this picturesque landscape of a backyard, all is well with the world. Ok, so maybe most people see snow as a hassle to daily commute or if you're a student, snow days means no school. But growing up in the tropics, I'd always dreamt of living in a place with lots and lots of snowfall. The hot summer weather and beaches don't entice me, but snow...oh, give me lots of snow and I'll be a happy girl!

My boys love the snow too, so if you let them, they'd be out all day playing in the snow. Whether it's
A tossing snowballs at his 4 legged brothers, sledding, helping dad shovel the driveway or just running around in knee high powdery bed of snow, you can definitely hear the laughter and joy of a 2 year old throughout the duration of our outdoor playtime. My husband, on the other hand, thinks of all the shoveling he needs to do..ha! It's funny how our perspective differs.
